There are nearly 1,000 DePaul alumni and supporters involved in the ASK volunteer network, eager to provide insight and advice from their professional perspectives. Several faculty utilize ASK for specific projects and curriculum support. ASK mentors can connect with students both inside and outside the classroom through:
Career Mentoring
Volunteers share their professional experiences and industry insight through short- or long-term mentoring via email, phone or in person. Some work with specific programs to counsel a targeted group of students in support of recruitment, retention, and post-graduation.
Practice Interviews
Students can practice their interviewing skills with professional in the field and receive feedback on their resumes and portfolios. An online schedule is posted quarterly, but last-minute and special requests can be accommodated.
Guest Speaking
Bring alumni into your classroom or event to speak about specific industries, discuss trends, or share insight.
